🐎Q: How much time will my child spend riding each day?
Each camper will take part in at least one mounted activity per day. This could be a riding or vaulting lesson, a trail ride around the property, or a mounted game — depending on the day.
The length of riding time varies based on factors like the weather, each child’s comfort level, and our horses’ well-being. While we know riding is often the most exciting part for many kids, our top priority is always the safety and comfort of both rider and horse.
We’re especially mindful that this is a beginner camp, and many kids are new to horses — sometimes feeling nervous or unsure. We build confidence gradually in a low-pressure, positive environment.
Additionally, we believe in ethical, sustainable horse care, which means our horses are never overworked. We do not offer hours of pony rides — instead, we create well-rounded experiences that include grooming, groundwork, games, and horsemanship, all of which build valuable skills and deepen kids’ connection to horses. We think this makes the riding time we do have even sweeter!
