About Us
Family-Run. Heart-Led. Horse-Centered.
At Coquitlam Equestrian Centre, we’re more than a riding program — we’re a place where kids grow in confidence, compassion, and courage alongside the horses they love.
Our centre is family-run and deeply rooted in our belief that children thrive in environments that are both structured and nurturing. Whether your child is just beginning their horse journey or already vaulting with confidence, we provide a supportive space where they can learn, play, and flourish.

What Makes Us Different?
-
A Kinder Way to Ride
We prioritize connection over competition and kindness over pressure. Our programs are designed to teach strong horsemanship skills while building empathy, teamwork, and joy.
-
Happy Horses = Happy Riders
Our lesson horses are valued partners, not tools. They live outdoors in herds, have access to food around the clock, and are never overworked. Every horse gets time off, care, and the respect they deserve. All horses receive regular bodywork, customized supplement plans, and professionally fitted tack.
-
Programs That Grow With Your Child
From pony rides and birthday parties to camps and vaulting lessons, we offer something for every age and ability — always with safety, fun, and progression in mind. -
Led With Love
We are riders, parents, and lifelong horse lovers ourselves. Our passion for horses and children shapes every part of the experience we offer.
Whether your child dreams of galloping through meadows, standing on a cantering horse, or simply learning how to brush a pony with confidence — we’re here to make it magical, safe, and unforgettable.

🐴 Meet the Team
Our experienced instructors are passionate about horses and dedicated to helping you improve your riding skills. Each coach brings a unique set of skills and knowledge to the arena.
🐾 Meet Our Furry Farm Family (That Doesn’t Neigh)
No visit to Coquitlam Equestrian Centre is complete without a warm welcome from our non-equine crew!
At our farm, the animals — big and small — are part of the heart and soul. 🐶🐱
We politely ask that people leave their furry friends at home when they visit the farm.

Chantal’s show-stopping Golden Retriever, Mercy, brings grace and championship spirit wherever she goes.

Our barn cat family is our pride and joy as they have inserted themselves firmly into the hearts of everyone here at CEC! Daisy and Ravioli (Mom and Dad), along with their friendly, playful kittens Daffodil, Bumbles, and Spook, are spayed, neutered, and absolutely thriving. These cuddly companions love hanging around kids and curling up for snuggles.
